1. Drill Team – Every Monday night from 1930 to 2130hrs unless otherwise announced. Drill Team is open to all members of 638 Squadron. Members must bring parade boots and their wedge to all practices.
2. Rocket Club does not meet this Thursday but the following one.
3. Lottery Tickets are available each week at the squadron. All cadets are required to sell one book of tickets. The cost of each booklet is $50 and is required when you sign out your book of tickets. Please see Mrs. Hodder for yours.
4. The Krispy Kreme campaign has been extended an extra week. Delivery is still set for December 9th. Please do your best to get as many orders as possible.
5. Ground School Classes for cadets interested in applying for the Glider Pilot Scholarship Course, the Power Pilot Scholarship Course, or who just want to learn about flight will be every Tuesday evening from 1900-2100hrs at the Armoury. They will also meet on Wednesday evenings from 1800-1830. Ground school is open to all cadets of all levels and is the first step in learning to fly. For information please speak to WO2 Rochat.
6. Marksmanship Cadets who wish to participate in an air rifle range practice and try out for the Squadron’s Marksmanship Team are encouraged to come out to the Armoury Thursday evenings. Range will be held every Thursday night from 1800hrs to 2100hrs unless otherwise stated. This activity is open to all cadets of the Squadron.
7. The level 5 workshop takes place this weekend. All who are attending are to bring their level 5 workbooks,healthcard, permission slip (if not already handed in) and a filled water bottle. Those attending are Julie Antler, Erik Fleurant, Tristan Fleming, Sara Hill, Morgan Margaret Elizabeth, Anthony Joseph Tarso, Vanessa Angus and Reanna Sine.
8. National Summer Camp application packages are due next Wednesday. See 2Lt Snelgrove for help if needed.
9. There was a sign-up sheet last night for this years Biathlon team. Please see Captain Frampton if you didn't sign up yet.
10. Last years drill team members need to return their drill boots to the squadron please.
11. Next week is a Christmas themed sports night. The attire for the evening is civies with a competition for the ugliest Christmas sweater.
