1. Drill Team – Every Monday night from 1930 to 2130hrs unless otherwise announced. Drill Team is open to all members of 638 Squadron. Members must bring parade boots and their wedge to all practices.
2. Rocket Club meets this Thursday.
3. Lottery Tickets are available each week at the squadron. All cadets are required to sell one book of tickets. The cost of each booklet is $50 and is required when you sign out your book of tickets. Please see Mrs. Hodderfor yours.
4. The Krispy Kreme campaign is still set for delivery on December 9th.
5. Ground School Classes for cadets interested in applying for the Glider Pilot Scholarship Course, the Power Pilot Scholarship Course, or who just want to learn about flight will be every Tuesday evening from 1900-2100hrs at the Armoury. They will also meet on Wednesday evenings from 1800-1830. Ground school is open to all cadets of all levels and is the first step in learning to fly. For information please speak to WO2 Rochat.
6. Marksmanship Cadets who wish to participate in an air rifle range practice and try out for the Squadron’s Marksmanship Team are encouraged to come out to the Armoury Thursday evenings. Range will be held every Thursday night from 1800hrs to 2100hrs unless otherwise stated. This activity is open to all cadets of the Squadron.
7. Biathlon shooting practice will take place at the Beachburg Range this Saturday, Dec 5th from 1230-1530 hrs.
8. Last years drill team members need to return their drill boots to the squadron please.
9. December 11th is the date of the Christmas formal. Please see the poster on this page for any information you need.
