Wednesday December 17/14

1. Drill Team practices are postponed until January 12/15
2. Marksmanship is open this week, to all cadets who have previously participated.
3. Don’t forget to sign out your lottery cadet tickets. Sold books are due back by Wednesday, January 28/15
4. Biathlon Team will not be having practices over the Holiday break. Please ski or train on your own.
5. Next night back is Wed. Jan 7/15. This will be a sports night so wear your Squadron t-shirt.

Please join us for a Christmas Concert on 11 Dec at 2000 hrs. Music will be performed by the combined band of the 2677 42nd Field Regiment (Lanark & Renfrew Scottish) Army Cadet Corps and 638 Algonquin Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Cadets. Come see what our new band can do, and get into the Christmas spirit!

Wednesday Dec 3/14

1. Drill Team practices are held every Monday night at the Pembroke Armoury from 1830-2030hrs unless otherwise stated.
2. Ground School will take place at the Pembroke Armoury on Tuesday evenings from 1845-2100hrs in the computer lab and Wednesday evenings from 1800-1830hrs in the Ante Room.
3. Cadets who wish to participate in an air rifle range practice and try out for the Squadron’s Marksmanship Team are encouraged to come out to the Armoury Thursday evenings. Range will be held every Thursday night from 1800hrs to 2100hrs unless otherwise stated. This Thursday is only open to McCafferty, S. Wagner, Kennedy, White, LeBlanc, Fleurant
4. Cadets interested in being part of the combined Army Cadet/Air Cadet Brass and Reed band are encouraged to come out to the Armoury Thursday evenings from 1800hrs to 2100hrs unless otherwise stated. No experience is necessary and instruments are provided if needed. If you have your own instrument you are asked to bring it with you.
5. Don’t forget to sign out your lottery cadet tickets. Sold books are due back by Wednesday, December 10, 2014.
6.  Biathlon Team will be practicing physical/roller skiing training at Garrison Petawawa near the water treatment plant (the same place as last weekend). This will take place on Sunday Dec 7/145 at 1300 - 1430 hrs. This is open to all cadets who are interested in biathlon. Make sure you bring a helmet, gloves, and a filled water bottle..
