A Squadron Mess Dinner will be held for the Staff, Sponsoring Committee, and Cadets of 638 Squadron on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Kyrenia Club (146 Nicklin Parade Square, CFB Petawawa) during which the Change of Command Ceremony will take place between Capt Graham and Capt Duchene. Dress for this event is full dress uniform. Cadets are to be dropped off at the Kyrenia Club at 1830hrs (6:30pm) and are to be picked up at 2115hrs (9:15pm). A mess dinner briefing will be held third period on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 for all cadets.
Cadet Instructors Cadre
The Cadet Instructors Cadre (CIC) Branch consists of approximately 7,500 Canadian Forces (CF) officers whose primary duty is the safety, supervision, administration and training of Royal Canadian Sea, Army, and Air Cadets. The Branch is the largest single group within the Canadian Forces reserve force subcomponent Cadet Organizations Administration and Training Service (COATS and is the largest officer branch in the Canadian Forces. The COATS subcomponent of the Reserve Force employs members from all branches and occupations of the Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Army, and Royal Canadian Air Force of the Canadian Forces. The CIC was founded on May 1, 1910.
