Archery!

Everyone is welcome to come out and participate in a great day of Archery!

Archery is the art, practice, or skill of propelling arrows with the use of a bow.
Cadets can sign up for the morning or afternoon with the sessions running 0900-1130 and 1230 - 1500 at the South Side Community Center in Petawawa. Cadets will learn safety, positions and shooting techniques to enable them to hit the target.

Please bring indoor foot wear and snacks and lunch. It should prove to be a great day!

Drill Team Reminder

Drill Team practice will be held Monday October 24th at the armoury from 6:30-8:30 pm all are welcome to attend including those currently participating in the current recruit course

Below is a list of cadets who have outstanding documents.  If you have misplaced your Verification of Information form please ask the Administration Officer, Captain Duchene, and he can provide you with another copy.  It is very important that the office receive these documents as soon as possible.

Notes:

1. Recruits who have joined 638 Squadron between 28 Sep 11 and 2 Nov 11 will be loaded on the second recruit course (Serial 2) which starts on 2 Nov 11.

2. Recruits are to wear their issued blue t-shirt for the recruit course.

3. Recruits must bring a notebook and pen to take notes.

4. Recruits are also invited to participate in the Halloween Bash on 26 Oct 11 and the Halloween Night of Terror on 28 Oct 11.  For more information on these events please see the other postings on the blog.

HALLOWEEN BASH

On Wednesday, October 26, 2011 the Squadron will be hosting a fun night for all cadets.  Cadets are to attend in costume and are invited to bring a friend (aged 12-18).  There will be prizes for the best costumes and cadets will be participating in games and watching Halloween movies.

Night of Terror

All cadets are invited to attend!

Cadets will meet at Hugli's Bluberry Ranch

2139 Greenwood Road Pembroke Ontario.

Friday October 28th at 6:30 p.m and will be dissmissed by 9:00pm.

Cadets are to be dressed in apporpriate civilian clothing,

keeping in mind that most of the evening will be spent outdoors!!

Biathlon Practice Sunday, Oct 16 10 AM

There will be a biathlon practice Sunday, October 16 from 10 AM - 12 Noon.

Wear gym clothes and warm layers, toque & gloves. We will be outside for most of the 2 hours.
